Today I wanted to share with you all things College Park, The Woodlands TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. WHY PEOPLE LOVE COLLEGE PARK IN THE WOODLANDS TX

Where is College Park:
Located in The Woodlands / Conroe TX Area, really close to Highway 242 (College Park Drive) and Highway I-45. College Park is broken up into three enclaves, with one being south east. The three enclaves are Windsor Hills (an active adult and gated community), Harper’s Landing (east of I-45 south of 242), and Grogan’s Forest, whic his at Research Forest Drive and Grogan’s Mill.

Why folks choose College Park:
Residents love the close proximity to I-45, the low tax rates, the lovely parks, and being able to call The Woodlands home. College Park features an active village association, lovely residents, and many parks/playground!

Grogan’s Forest is a combination of enclaves located at the end of Grogan’s Mill Road where Shenandoah meets The Woodlands. The Grogan’s Forest community includes the enclaves of Mason Pond, Mason Heights, Patina Pines, Prosewood, Tapestry Park, Tiffany Green and Turret Hill.

Harper’s Landing is the only enclave of The Woodlands that is on the east side of I-45. Residents of Harper’s Landing enjoy quick access to the freeway.

Windsor Hills is a unique enclave within The Woodlands. The neighborhood is designed for Active Adults over the age of 55 who want to spend time involved in activities that bring enjoyment and fulfillment to their lives. The goal was to design a neighborhood and collection of homes that required less time to maintain than conventional homes.

The amenities in College Park include these six parks: Avalon Park (BBQ pits, Bucket swings, Drinking fountains, Picnic tables, Play equipment for younger children, and Tennis courts), Harper’s Landing Park (Ball fields, Basketball courts, BBQ pits, Belt swings, Bucket swings, Dog-friendly area / Dog park, Drinking fountains, Parking spaces, Pavilions / Gazebos, Picnic tables, Play equipment for older children, Play equipment for younger children, Restrooms, Soccer fields, Swimming pool, Tennis courts, Theme slides, and Wheel-friendly area), Mason Pond Park (fishing), Misty Dawn Park (Belt swings, Bucket swings, Drinking fountains, Picnic tables, Play equipment for older children, and Play equipment for younger children) Tapestry Park (BBQ pits, Belt swings, Bucket swings, Pavilions / Gazebos, Picnic tables, Play equipment for older children, and Play equipment for younger children), and Wimberly Park (Belt swings, Bucket swings, Drinking fountains, Picnic tables, Play equipment for older children, and Play equipment for younger children). The neighborhood swimming pool would be Harper’s Landing Pool, which features a maximum depth 5′ or less, Outside spray shower, Picnic tables, Swimming lanes / lap lanes, and Water play structure / splash pad. Keep in mind you would also have access to rest of the amenities, parks, and such of The Woodlands as a whole.

District Rating in Conroe ISD

A+. Conroe ISD has mostly A rated schools & are a big reason why people choose to live in areas that are served by this district. They have overall A’s for academics, college prep, clubs & activities, sports, administration, and teachers.

Nearby:
Minutes from Walmart, H-E-B, Costco, Kroger, the Portofino Shopping Center (TJ Maxx, PGA Tour Superstore, Old Navy, Sams Club, Home Depot, Michael’s, Nordstrom Rack, and PetSmart) and many restaurants including Another Broken Egg Cafe, BJ’s Brewhouse, Buca di Beppo. Buffalo Wild Wings, Kats’ Deli, Mod Pizza, Pei Wei, Spring Creek Barbecue, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.. It’s just a short commute to Waterway Square, The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, multiple movie theaters, and so much more.
