Tupelo Park - The Woodlands, TX

Here at Jo & Co., we love exploring all around the surrounding areas and today we are in The Woodlands, more specifically, Creekside Park! Creekside Park is the newest village in The Woodlands and it's full of new shopping establishments, restaurants, parks and its own movie theater. Today we are looking one of their parks, Tupelo Park!

Tupelo park is tucked in a neighborhood in Creekside Park. It is quiet and charming as it spans out just over 11 acres. It features basketball courts hidden in the trees, a big open sports field for various uses. There are also picnic tables in the covered pavilion, which is a great space to host small gatherings and events. There is a playground for kids and swings for younger and older children! The playground features a fun spider web climbing structure for the kids. You’ll be happy to hear the restrooms are right beside the playground for easy access. There are also trails that loop around the park and weave throughout the neighborhood. The lake is a great feature there as it adds a great scenery to it all!

The park is kept up nice and clean and they do a great job maintaining it. You will also meet some friendly ducks waddling along the paths!. One feature that I really liked is the bridge that crosses over the lake. It’s a very beautiful bridge and on both sides you have great views and can just stand for second and listen to nature. If you’re into fishing come and bring your fishing poles just make sure you let the friendly fish go after. This park is well known and very loved by the community!
