Hi new friends! I thought this would be a fun blog post for anyone in the market to find a home in The Woodlands, as well as, relocating here at the same time. And I know not everyone knows a friend or family member in the area, so here I am with a list of the best places to stay when house hunting and visiting The Woodlands.

I absolutely love the Embassy Suites in Hughes Landing. I have actually stayed here for a birthday evening before, and the view is divine. They have amazing breakfast, a lovely outdoor swimming pool complete with hot tub, and a fantastic gym. Oohhh, and free parking.
The location, Hughes Landing, is known for its award-winning restaurants. I have eaten at a great deal of them, and haven't found one I disliked. Hughes Landing also houses Whole Foods, my favorite cycle bar, and a Starbucks!

Then for the next birthday, we picked The Westin. The gym is the best hotel gym in the city, complete with Peloton stationary bicycles. They have an award-winning on-site restaurant and on-site Starbucks. I honestly love the hotel mostly for the gym. Please note, the parking garage is paid parking only, and a large percentage of the views, aren't anything to write home about.

This hotel is a great one if an indoor pool is on the top of your priority list! And it is also budget friendly, while including free breakfast.

This hotel is a great option if you are housing more than 2 people in a room. They are perfect for families, and have a separate work/living area, complete with dining table (which can be used as a desk), a sofa bed, and a second TV. We have stayed in this line of hotel while traveling, and the kids have always been appreciative of the swimming pools, and free breakfast!

This hotel is convenient and a top choice when wanting a prime location (just off our major highway in The Woodlands/Houston), and one of the most budget friendly options. Not only is it one of the newest hotels in The Woodlands, but includes free breakfast and parking.

Whether you are on a budget, or you want to find a place that feels a little more "at home", an Airbnb, might just be exactly what you are looking for. This is a great option if you want to "try out" a particular neighborhood.
