When it comes to buying or selling a home, there are plenty of websites that you can turn to for information. Redfin is one of the popular websites among agents. But for The Woodlands, Texas? I personally only recommend this website... HAR (my website pulls directly from har.com) is going to be the most accurate and the most up-to-date.

HAR.com stands for the Houston Association of Realtors’ website. It is a database of all the real estate listings in the area that is owned by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR). The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is also owned by HAR and is free when you pay your dues to be a member of HAR.

One of HAR's biggest perks is how up-to-date its information is. The information comes directly from the Houston Association of Realtors database, which is free for members of HAR. They are also said to have one of the most accurate databases in the Houston Area. It is going to pull in accurate property tax amounts, property tax rates, tax-assessed values, and non-bias school ratings from the TEA (Texas Education Agency).

“HAR.com is the best site for our area. It truly is the most accurate site a consumer can go to because that’s where the information is generated. I think all the sites serve a purpose and do what they do well. But if I’m looking for raw data, I’m going to go to the source.”

HAR.com has a simple interface that makes searching for properties easy, and there are many filters that you can set up to search for exactly what you want. The map navigation is also very user-friendly and helpful, especially when you’re trying to find homes in specific areas around town. There are also many other features that help you to be more efficient when searching for homes, which can free up time that you might not have if you were using another website or service.

One thing you should keep in mind when using HAR.com: always make sure you talk to your agent before you buy a house. Your agent has access to more information than just a website and can give you more insight into any houses you might be interested in.
